Women’s Ministry

Women’s Ministries at Faith EFC seeks to encourage spiritual growth and interaction among the women of the church by providing opportunities for outreach, Bible studies and special events.  There are usually two to three ongoing Bible studies for women offered.  Times and contact information are available through the church office.  Annually Women’s Ministries sponsor an Operation Christmas Child [Samaritan’s Purse] shoebox packing party & church family meal and a Thanksgiving Turkey giveaway and lunch for our guest families from Mercy’s Gate.  The dates for those events are noted in the church newsletter and bulletin, as well as opportunities for donating and volunteering for those interested in participating.  Other events occurring throughout the year will always be noted in the church bulletin and newsletter.

White Cross groups have been meeting in various capacities since 1908 with the purpose of providing for the needs of missionaries.  Currently, we send linens, layettes, and many hospital supplies for Tandala Hospital and dress, shorts, and backpack sewing kits for ELIKYA Center in the Democratic Republic of Congo.
