Pastor Gordon has been a part of Faith since 2009. Prior to that, he pastored a Baptist church in Wisconsin for 14 years. He has a bachelors degree in theology and a masters degree in divinity. He is originally from Toronto, but is thrilled to call Colorado Springs home. Come by his office and see his “museum of sermons past” and the incubator for ministry yet to come! He has been following Jesus since the age of 8.
Pastor Greg has been a church planter, a lead Pastor of two churches over 23 years, and District Superintendent for the Rocky Mountain District of the Evangelical Free Church for 23 additional years. He holds a Bachelor of Science, Master of Divinity, and Doctor of Ministry in Marriage and Family Counseling. His passion is training and equipping disciples of the Lord, encouraging churches to develop their full potential for the Lord’s ministry through strategic planning, leadership development and capitalizing on their core values, ethos and culture.

Yanira does a great job at ensuring that things run smoothly and that everyone who calls the church is warmly greeted and well taken care of. She is dedicated and committed to serve the Faith EFC family and always strives to encourage others.
We have a congregational form of leadership, meaning that all of our leadership is answerable to the congregation. We have quarterly meetings to report on what God is doing and to seek approval for various ministry and spending decisions.
Our Elders are a team of godly men who have matured in their faith and have been approved by the congregation to be responsible for the spiritual well-being and overall leadership of the church. They consist of Pastor Gordon, Rob, Tyler, Dale, Don, Eric, and Fred. They meet once a month to pray for you and once a month to take care of leadership and ministry matters. If you are interested in church membership, they will interview you and also answer your questions about Faith. These men are also involved in many other areas at Faith, as they love the Lord and His church and are eager to serve and teach as God enables them.
Our worship director works with Pastor Gordon to select appropriate worship material for each Sunday service. Additionally, our worship director oversees our worship team which is made up of a number of folks who use their vocal and instrumental abilities to help us worship God together. The team’s passion is to help us all focus our thoughts and praise on God and to ponder His impact in our lives.
We have a youth program that meets one Sunday night per month. We usually host our own youth and those of Covenant Grace – an EFCA church plant in town that we are supporting. Our youth also have their own dedicated Sunday School class.
