We believe strongly in helping kids grow in their knowledge of God by learning Scripture and what He has revealed to us. Our Awana program meets on Mondays (September- May). Kids from ages 4 -17 enjoy the learning and games just about as much as our leaders do.
Whenever there is a 5th Sunday, in lieu of Sunday School we gather at a local restaurant for a meal and a fun chance to get to know each other better.
About 25% of our budget supports our missions work around the world. We help support about 20 missionaries who are active in evangelism, church planting, leadership training, relief work, discipleship and children’s work.
In addition, we have a number of organizations in town that folks from Faith serve with and that we also support. We’ve sent teams of folks overseas and are always looking for ways to expand God’s kingdom and give our folks a chance to serve at the same time.
We have a handful of groups that meet in homes as well as at the church. These groups meet mid-week at times that work best for their participants. Detailed information is available through the church office. Currently there are men’s, women’s, and couples’ groups.
If you have silver hair, or perhaps no hair, you will likely fit right in with our active group of senior saints who meet for a meal and an educative program along with the opportunity to bless the residents of a local nursing home that they regularly provide gifts for at Christmas, Valentines and other occasions where people can benefit from a reminder of God’s care for them.
Our men meet monthly for breakfast and have done maintenance and repair work for widows and single women within our congregation and community. Through simple prayers and repairs, our guys have been tangibly sharing the love of Jesus with those in need. If you can do household repairs, or if you can pray, there is room for you.
The Tandala Hospital in the Democratic Republic of Congo continuously receives shipments of bandages and basic items that enable it to serve a very needy part of Africa. This sewing ministry enables our women to bless people overseas and remind them of the love and interest of God in their lives.
Throughout the calendar year, we hold gathered and guided prayer meetings. By teaching and practicing prayer, people are assisted in nourishing their souls and enhancing their prayer life.
Classes are offered on Sunday mornings at 11:00 for all age groups.
