Questions for Sermon

1. Have I ever been moved to pray specifically for someone apart from
   “normal” prayer for others? What was the situation? What
   happened?

2. From the accounts in Acts I have seen so far, what was the
   purpose of miracles in the early church? Do I think that would hold
   true for the church today? What, if anything, has changed?

3. Outside of family members, who would I want to have been raised
   from the dead when they passed? Why?
4. Read 1 Peter 4:12-13 & 19. How would I reconcile Peter’s
   admonition on suffering with what I have seen in the Book of Acts
   regarding miracles?
5. In my cultural context, what role does the miraculous play in
   evangelism? Do I think this will change in the future? Why or why
   not?
